After almost a year of preparation, the G20 Seoul Summit has come to a successful conclusion. The two-day event helped promote a positive image of Korea worldwide, as the country welcomed G20 participants with open arms.
On November 12, President Lee Myung-bak announced that the members had adopted the "Seoul Declaration" and "Seoul Action Plan" as a result of the summit. Organized under the theme, “Shared Growth Beyond Crisis,” the summit achieved many of its aims and goals for bringing the world to greater prosperity.
